What is a Guild

In this world, all individuals with special abilities are required to register with a guild and obtain a license. The use of these abilities, known as nexu, is prohibited unless one is a member of a registered guild. Should a person choose to leave their guild, their license is temporarily suspended until they join another guild.

The governance structure of the guilds is organized hierarchically. Each guild has a guild master who reports to the city's two Nexu Representatives. These representatives, in turn, report to the country's Nexu Ambassador. The Nexu Council oversees all guilds, with the country's Nexu Ambassador being their direct superior. Notably, the guild owner is not necessarily the guild master, although some owners may also assume this role. The guild owner receives a percentage of the guild's profits, typically ranging from 10% to 20%, including earnings from missions.

Being part of a guild offers various advantages over the average person. Guild members are the only ones permitted to use their abilities, except in nexu tournaments or military engagements. There are two ways to gain notice from a guild: either by graduating from a nexu school or by participating in tournaments. These are the only exceptions to the ability use restriction.

Guilds are ranked on a 1-to-5-star system based on their achievements, awards, the inclusion of nobility members, the number of members, and the diversity of abilities among their members.
